The Things Kids Say

Last week Landon said, "What was it like the first time Daddy kissed you?" I told him where we were and that I was probably happy. To this he said, "Did he take you to a 5-star restaurant afterwards?"

I swear, that kid says the absolute funniest things! He will be just 8 years old next month but sometimes he seems so much older than he is, and his drawings always amaze me too because he is so detail oriented. I told him yesterday that if God had let me pick any little boy, there is no way I could have ever come close to what God had given me in him. Truly, I am blessed.
